In Truchas we will visit the Nuestra Senora del Riosario Church; built in the early 1800’s the church is significant for its age, architecture and Altar screen. We also have the rare opportunity to visit the town’s Morada, and the hand-made home of Isabro Ortega wil be opened to us. In Las Trampas we will visit the San Jose Gracia Church, built in the late 1700’s the altar screen several bultos have been atributed to early New Mexican Santeros. This tour is exclisively for current Friends of Folk Art members, and space is limited!
