This hands-on workshop will lead participants through creating their own manga/graphic version of Hamlet’s soliloquy ‘To be or not to be’. The workshop will start with an introduction to the medium of manga/comic book representations of text, a detailed read of the text, discussion of the imagery in the soliloquy, followed by each participant creating their own version of the text. Facilitators and artists will work with participants as they imagine their own version of this famous text.
