Carol has also been the recipient of many Fellowships including the 2016 Dubin Fellowship from the School for Advanced Research. Her basketry is highly regarded among collectors and has been acquired by numerous museums throughout the US, most notably the Brooklyn Art Museum, the Montclair Art Museum, the Autry Museum of the American West, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
