Celebrate Earth Day early by making your own yucca walking stick and joining a staff led hike through the beautiful Coronado Historic Site property. Participants can collect their walking stick kit (a suggested $20 donation) in the Sun Father’s Giftshop. Supplies are limited so participation in the workshop will be first come, first served.
Throughout the day, nature hikes will be led by Instructional Coordinators, Ortega and Rodriguez. Due to the large amount of interest in this event, we will now be offering four hikes 10am, 11am, 1pm, and 2pm. These hikes are limited to 25 people each, and participants can sign up the morning of the event in the Visitor Center.
Participation in the walking stick workshop and nature hikes are free with purchase of admission to Coronado Historic Site. Adults $5, Children Free, Tribal Members Free. Call 505-867-5351 for more information.
