Engaging the Future: Conversations with Goodman Fellowship Artists
Conversations with Zuni Pueblo Jeweler Abraham Peina

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

Abraham Peina is a self-taught silversmith from Zuni Pueblo. In describing his work, he says: “My heart, soul and everyday emotions create everlasting, one-of-akind pieces. I love spreading positive energy and messages to follow your dreams through my art. My work is a reflection of my everyday life as an artist. As challenging as my journey may be, my life is also a one-of-akind masterpiece. Never give up because the day you do, is the day you could have made it. Love good and love hard. Life is beautiful and always remember, laughter is the best medicine. One Love.” Conversations with Goodman Fellows will continue on a monthly basis throughout the year, generally the fourth Wednesday of every month, at 10:00 am. Please watch MIAC’s newsletter and social media for future dates. The series will also be available on the Museum’s You Tube Channel. When: August 25, 2021, 10am Mountain Time (US and Canada)

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

**Even though MIAC is open to the public, all public programming will continue to be virtual until further notice.**
