Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

Ricardo Caté is from Kewa Pueblo is well known for his popular cartoon “Without Reservations”. Caté is the only Native American cartoonist whose work is carried by a daily mainstream newspaper. Ricardo has a very funny sense of humor and his cartoons tie into everyday news, life on the reservation and how things relate to his Pueblo life. Cate hand paints his cartoons and sells at various art markets across the Southwest. In addition to being a cartoonist, Caté is also a stand-up comedian, writer, teacher, veteran, former college athlete, tribal official, and activist. He’s been invited to present at many local schools and speaks across the nation at many different venues.

Ehren Kee Natay (Kewa Pueblo, Diné) is a multimedia artist residing in Santa Fe, NM.  He is primarily a musician and has 25 + years of experience playing drums and percussion as a live performer and as a composer for TV and film.  He is also an accomplished painter, sculptor, and silversmith and has held exhibitions both nationally and internationally through galleries, museums, public installations, and site-specific theatrical performances. He continues to impact the youth as an arts educator in New Mexico public schools and maintains connection to his community through storytelling.
