Lifeways of the Southern Athabaskans and Hweeldi

Celebrate the closing of two great exhibitions with Dinetah Dancers (at 1pm and 3pm), a Southern Athabaskan Language Lecture with guest speakers Oliver Enjady (Mescalero Apache) and members of the Jicarilla Apache Tribe (at 2pm), hands-on family activities (1 to 4pm), and light refreshments. Free for NM Residents!

Join us on Sunday, June 2nd for a Library pop-up open house from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for "Girard before the Wing," A look back at Alexander Girard’s MOIFA exhibitions in the decades prior to his 1982 landmark Multiple Visions: A Common Bond.

All are invited to discover the Bartlett Library & Archives at the Museum of International Folk Art through our 2019 Open House series, featuring pop-up exhibits exploring the world of folk art and the history of the Museum. Please join us for these free events!
