From the event:
Wild West Weekend

New Mexico History Museum

Demonstrating Dutch oven cooking during the New Mexico History Museum's Wild West Weekend, Best Ancell started as a bunkhouse cowboy in 1972, moving up to wagon boss, assistant manager, and eventually manager of the Bell Ranch until its sale in 2010, a time span of a little over forty years. He is immediate past president of the New Mexico Cattle Growers' Association. Bert and his wife, Debbie, now live on the Ojo Feliz Ranch near Wagon Mound, NM. Bert always had an interest in cooking and has catered events with his chuck wagon for the past few years.
