New Mexico History Museum

Flat, leather pouch with strap, telescope-style top which slides up and down on the straps, attached to bottom half. Vertical seams are hand-sewn. Front of pouch elaborately embroidered with hemp threads and floral motifs. On display in the History Museum’s main exhibit, Telling New Mexico: Stories from Then and Now.
