Oldest Known Map of New Galicia, 1550
This map illustrates some of the most important cities found in the territory of New Galicia, such as Guadalajara, depicted with the same symbols used to depict a medieval European city. Geographical features also appear, as does the curious depiction of the tribes known as the Chichimecas, Tepehuanes, and Tehuanes.
