Museum Exhibitions Held Over: Drugs: Costs and Consequences & Brain: The Inside Story

(Albuquerque, New Mexico) – The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science has extended the stay of two current exhibitions Drugs: Costs and Consequences; and Brain: The Inside Story, through the Fall of 2019.

“Both of these thought-provoking exhibits have been very well-received and quite impactful based on comments we’ve received from our visitors,” said Margie Marino, Executive Director of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science .“ The Museum is pleased we were able to reach an accord with both of the exbibitors to extend the duration of these two exhibits which present phenomenal learning opportunities to New Mexicans for another few months.

Brain: The Inside Story has been extended through Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019. This exhibition draws on the most current research and technology to present neuroscience, highlighting the brain’s surprising ability to rewire itself in response to experience, disability or trauma. Organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York with other international partners, the exhibition also showcases modern technologies that researchers use to study the brain. 

Drugs: Costs & Consequences has been extended through Dec. 8, 2019. The traveling exhibition from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Museum and the DEA Education Foundation.

Entrance to both exhibitions is included in the museum admission cost.
