The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) presents the annual Native Treasures Collectors’ Sale from October 23-25, 2020. This year’s sale, comprised of generations of Native Arts from private collectors, will be a virtual event due to current health concerns regarding COVID-19.

We are excited that our Collectors’ Sale will continue through a new online format to meet our fundraising opportunities,” said Della Warrior, Director of MIAC. “Please join us in supporting this critical endeavor. The funds raised will support much-needed programming aimed at celebrating the histories and cultures of the Indigenous Southwest.”

In addition to the Collectors’ Sale, cultural learning experiences will be offered as Auction items. These experiences provide an opportunity to visit a pueblo and be hosted by a community member to learn about the community and its history.

A portion of the Collectors’ Sale benefits MIAC’s education programs. Funds from the sale will support the development of new and innovative online educational programs. These critical resources will be made available to Tribal schools, used in online school curriculum, promoted in the community, and serve as additional learning tools for those interested in Native American culture, historyand the arts.

Sales will also support upcoming exhibitions at MIAC. These exciting and unique exhibitions require financial support to help pay for costs related to preparation, installation, packing, shippingand insurance.
