(Albuquerque, NM) - The National Hispanic Cultural Center Carnaval Celebration 2020 is set for Friday and Saturday nights, February 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Albuquerque Journal Theatre
Carnaval, the festive season observed before Lent in many cultures, is one of the world’s most widespread celebrations and one of its biggest parties. Frank Leto Musical Ventures and the NHCC continue their annual partnership once again this year, during the NHCC’s 20th anniversary year. Carnaval will be celebrated at NHCC with a festive and colorful evening of music, dance, theatre, featuring the Odara Dance Ensemble and the musical group PANdemonium.
Carnaval 2020 is a dazzling spectacle of vibrant dance, engaging music and beautiful costumes which showcase the Carnaval traditions of Cuba, Trinidad, Brazil and New Orleans. This is the 15th annual Carnaval celebration at the NHCC.
Tickets for Carnaval are: $17, $22, $27with a $2 discount for seniors, children 12 years old and younger & NHCC members
