Handmade Paper Sale Comes to Santa Fe

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—September 28, 2016 (Santa Fe, NM): The New Mexico History Musuem/Palace of the Governors and Friends of Dard Hunter welcome everyone in the Santa Fe community to shop a special Paper Trade Fair on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22, 2016. Vendors will be selling tools, supplies, crafts, and fine art related to paper, print, and book arts.

The Paper Trade Fair is part of Earth Paper Sky, the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Friends of Dard Hunter, an organization for hand papermakers. Stop by and shop Friday, from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 4pm in the lobby of the New Mexico History Museum at 113 Lincoln Avenue, located on the historic Plaza.

About the Friends of Dard Hunter

The Friends of Dard Hunter is an organization for hand papermakers and anyone with a passion for paper. Since 1981 they have been connecting and educating papermakers in America and all over the world. Their name honors the life and work of Dard Hunter (1881-1966), whose travels, research, and writing are the most extensive of anyone in the field of hand papermaking. They hold an annual conference in different regions of North America, and they sponsor exhibitions of the art and science of papermaking here in abroad.
