Earthen Architecture—Past, Present and Future
An Adobe Summer event

New Mexico History Museum

Get a multicultural perspective of how communities preserve adobe structures, featuring Jake Barrow, program director for Cornerstones Community Partnerships; Tomasita Duran, executive director of the Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority; and artist Nicasio Romero of the Villanueva Valley. A free event, 1–3 pm, Saturday, July 25.

Adobe Summer is part of the Summer of Color and is designed to focus attention on a marvel of adobe architecture: The Palace of the Governors. A 400-year-old National Treasure, its longevity will continue only with the support of our many friends and faithful preservationists.
