Join Los Luceros Historic Site virtually in celebrating the birthdays of two of our most popular lambs. This virtual presentation will give an overview of the lambs’ first year of life at the historic ranch and will conclude with allowing the lambs to devour their own birthday "cake".
Two lambs were born during a snowstorm in January of 2020. These lambs were both rejected by their mothers and Los Luceros staff were happy to bottle feed them to help them survive. Staff and visitors quickly fell in love with the two energetic youngsters and they became a hit on social media. After the cold months were over, the lambs were introduced to the larger flock of Churros and have convinced the other sheep to be more friendly with people. These two cuties have lived through a lot in 2020, they have survived being abandoned by their mothers, an emergency fire evacuation, the COVID pandemic, and their first shearing. Join us as we celebrate these two resiliant lambs and greet a new year.
