In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, the New Mexico History Museum is hosting an engaging panel discussion from 2-4pm about Miguel Trujillo, a WWII veteran and educator who set in motion historic changes for Native voters. The panel discussion is presented in connection with an interactive exhibit entitled, “Miguel Trujillo and the Pursuit of Native Voting Rights. The exhibit highlights Miguel Trujillo’s advocacy for Native voting rights and the impact his ongoing legacy has on Native voters today.
