Join us on Saturday, December 16 for one of the New Mexico Museum of Art’s most endearing traditions, our annual Holiday Open House!
Explore the galleries and create holiday crafts at our Plaza location and the new Vladem Contemporary. Enjoy outstanding performances by some of Santa Fe’s most talented young musicians with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association. Don’t forget one of Santa Fe’s most beloved holiday traditions, our holiday marionette show in St. Francis Auditorium, A Holiday Party for Pappa Gus, featuring Teatro Duende and the replica’s of Gustave Baumann’s marionettes!
Drop into our library to view some seasonally themed items from our archival collections during an open house. Librarian Abby Smith will be on hand to showcase holiday cards from the Will Schuster archive and the Baumann collection, as well as answer all your questions about the Museum library and archives.
And if that wasn’t enough, this year we will again be celebrating in collaboration with our friends across the street at the New Mexico History Museum where they will have even more fun and activities to enjoy!
Curious to see our other location in the railyard, the Vladem Contemporary? There will be holiday craft projects there as well!
This is a FREE event.
