Acoma Pueblo

Ladders lead to the various levels of the ancient residences of Acoma Pueblo's Sky City, which looks today much as it did in this circa 1880 photograph by Ben Wittick. Built atop a mesa, the Pueblo is still inhabited and open to visitors.
