Museum Hill Partner Celebrate Community Day, September 22, 2019

(Santa Fe, New Mexico) – Join Museum Hill Partners, comprised of six organizations for Community Day, a day of free, family-friendly activities and art on September 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The annual event, which attracts nearly 2,000 attendees per year, will be free to the public and offer fun for all ages.

The participating organizations include the Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA), the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC), Santa Fe Botanical Gardens (SFBG), the International Folk Art Market (IFAM), Museum of Spanish Colonial Art (MOSCA), and the Wheelwright Museum of The American Indian (WMAI). Each organization will present entertainment, crafts, activities, or special offers for their programming.

Community Day events will include the following schedule and much more:

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Docent Tours Take a tour through the garden, ask questions and learn how to incorporate elements of the landscaping into your own backyard Santa Fe Botanical Garden (SFBG)

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Master Gardeners on site to answer all of your tough gardening questions (SFBG)

10:00 a.m. Jemez Seasonal Dance Group, (Jemez and Zuni) performs on Wheelwright Plaza (WMAI)

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Youth / Family Hands-on Art Activity Museum of Spanish Colonial Art (MOSCA)

10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Taqueria Gracias Madre Food Truck Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian (WMAI)

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hatcha’s Food Truck (MOSCA)

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Docent Tours Explore Paul Pletka: Converging Faiths in the New World and other exhibitions (MOSCA)

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. International Folk Art Market Stop by our table to learn about our membership program and upcoming warehouse sale
