Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Albuquerque -- The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is participating in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The Museum will be a drop-off location for unused medications. Take-Back Day is a safe and convenient way to dispose of prescription drugs. The event gives the public an opportunity to properly dispose of unused and expired prescription medications. The event is being held in conjunction with the museum’s exhibit, Drugs: Costs and Consequences. The National Drug Take Back Day will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. at the Museum.

Drugs: Costs & Consequences is a traveling exhibition from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Museum and the DEA Education Foundation. The exhibit is currently on display at the museum through December 8, 2019. The exhibit is included with Museum Admission.
