Fossil of oldest known species of tree-climbing reptile discovered in Northern New Mexico
A rendering of the ancient tree-climbing reptile Eoscansor. A fossil of Eoscansor was discovered in Northern New Mexico in rocks dating back 305 million years. With this discovery, Eoscansor becomes the oldest tree-climbing reptile on record.
