Come visit the Axle Contemporary van in front of the Museum of Art to celebrate Art’s Birthday! It all began in France in 1963, when Fluxus artist Robert Filliou declared Art was born one million years ago, when a sponge was dropped into a bucket of water. We’ll celebrate with free birthday cakes from noon to 4pm. Enjoy an open mic, readings by artists and other shenanigans; bring the whole family! Join artists from around the world in the celebration of Art’s one million and fifty-third birthday.
LIVE MUSIC from 1 to 2 with GREG BUTERA TRIO
OPEN MIC and more 1 to 4pm
