Among the artifacts on display in Cowboys Real and Imagined are a Sinaloa-style saddle (courtesy Hubbard Museum of the American West); Spanish spurs, stirrups, and a beaver sombrero (courtesy Museum of International Folk Art); a horsehair rope (courtesy New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum); and a rawhide rope (New Mexico History Museum).
